We have a current opening for a Audio Hardware Engineer to work in the TelePresence System Business Unit (TSBU) of our Emerging Technologies Group - ETG.
Responsibilities:
Hardware design for audio circuits such as microphone preamp, equalizer, audio amplifier, audio DSP subsystem, headsets.
Work with acoustic experts and software DSP experts to determine the requirements and develop the hardware circuit solution.
Work on acoustic components such as microphones and speakers to characterize their performance, create interface circuits and perform root cause failure analysis.
Evaluate and select audio components for the TelePresence system.
Develop detailed product hardware specifications for acoustic components such as microphones and speakers.
Requirements:
Experience in designing audio circuits and DSP-based audio solutions.
Experience with designing microphone arrays.
Audio circuits experience in microphone preamp, equalizer, audio amplifier, headset, or audio DSP subsystem is required.
Expertise in all aspects of board-level design: component selection, schematic capture, layout, signal integrity analysis, EMC, ESD, power decoupling is required.
Familiarity with audio DSP algorithms such as AEC, AGC is highly desirable.
Requires MSEE/CS combined with 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10+ yrs related experience.
