Summary:

Responsibilities:

In-depth knowledge in the following: IP networking, LAN/WAN Switching, and QoS in LAN/WAN using various queuing and QoS techniques such as Priority Queuing, Low Latency Queuing and RSVP

Cisco Invites You to Enter the “Cisco@25, Cisco In 25” Video Contest

Flying cars, time travel and the Internet connected to every single device we use today. Those are just some possibilities when you think of technology in the future.

This is where we need your help! For the past nine months, Cisco has been celebrating its 25th anniversary. To continue the celebrations, Cisco has launched the “Cisco@25, Cisco In 25,” Video Contest asking participants to submit creative, fun videos answering the question, “where do you see technology going in the next 25 years?”

The contest will run from September 1 to October 30 and video submissions must be one minute in length or less. Winners will be based on the amount of buzz their video receives across the social web as well as their creativity with their video submission based on a panel of Cisco judges. The top five videos will win brand new Flip slide HD camcorders!

Think you have a great idea? We want to see it! To submit your video response, sign into your YouTube account or create one. Note: You must create a YouTube account to submit a video response. The Network Consulting Engineer position is responsible for the support and delivery of Advanced Services Network Optimization Service (NOS) to Cisco's major SP accounts in the US Theater. Performs and drives architectural, design and integration engineering for complex network infrastructure solutions. Advanced Service NCEs assist customers with tool selection and strategic direction of tools and network management systems. NCEs identify and document network design and architecture best practices. Advanced Services NCEs align and drive focused deliverables with customers business strategy and objectives. On a quarterly basis, NCEs are expected to present overall status of projects and delivery as part of the Quarterly Business Review. NCEs will provide backup support on other Advanced Services accounts. Engineers will leverage and generate applicable technical "best practices" and white papers. In addition to an NCEs day-to-day customer activities, training and mentoring other NCE's will be required. NCEs own the responsibility for driving regional Advanced Services projects and customer based project initiatives. NCEs will actively lead complex network design, performance engineering or problem resolution projects. NCEs solve complex, cross-functional technical issues that cross boundaries over many disparate products technologies.

Acquisition Integration Manager, Corporate Development

The Corporate Development (CD) organization is responsible for driving Cisco’s long term growth strategy through an integrated approach to market entry, expansion and acceleration. This spans the full lifecycle of innovation, investment, acquisition and partnerships.

Over the past few years Corporate Development has played an aggressive role in Cisco’s growth through more than 120 acquisitions, partnerships and investments. The Integration group within CD is responsible for executing the integration of acquisitions and Cisco, including the integration of people, processes, organizations and infrastructure.

This position is responsible for leading acquisition integrations and for operational decisions which will affect deadlines, overall business operations and CD’s success. This role provides an opportunity to be a major contributor in Cisco's efforts to gain leadership in global markets and individuals will have the ability to grow into a future leader of the broader CD organization.


Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational decisions that will affect deadlines, overall business operations and CD’s success
