We are looking for a Director with Process (Oil&Gas & Mining) Manufacturing, or Discrete Manufacturing or Transportation, or SP/M2M vertical industry experience -- preferably 15-25 years. As a Director you will create solutions utilizing use cases mapped to our OT buying centers, build strategic roadmaps, and drive business relevance within the key decision makers. You will contribute toward the growth, strategy, and management of developing key client relationships. This is a global vertical industry role in developing strategic opportunities in a theater; contributing to the global vertical practice and interacting with similar colleagues in other theaters around the globe, and; contributing to build the overall Vertical (P/D/T/SP&M2M) knowledge of the global consulting teams through engagement participation and knowledge sharing training.

Job Description

Providing consulting services in this customer-focused role, The Principal Security Strategist is a hybrid of roles: practitioner, trusted advisor, researcher, evangelist, customer advocate, account strategist, team leader, and product development consultant. We are committed to customer success in the constantly changing business and security threat landscape by providing industry-leading, expert advice and support. The Principal Security Strategist will be embedded with a few large multinational customers and will partner with the Security Center of Excellence, Security Practice, dedicated account teams, product organizations, and marketing.

Candidates must have a deep technical capability in multiple areas: Security Operations, Incident Response, Security Metrics Programs, Forensics, Research, Threat Detection, Penetration Testing, Security Product/Service Development, Cyber Security Legal, Compliance, and Security Assessments. Candidate must be able to command relationships at the C-level as a trusted advisor as well as communicate on a deep technical level with security analysts and engineers.

Demonstrating alignment with the customer through application of deep knowledge of customer’s business, market factors, and security & technology landscapes, the Principal Security Strategist will create, evangelize, and assist/lead security and security-related strategies. The engagement model is focused on collaboration and leadership with the customer, Security Center of Excellence, Security Practice, dedicated account teams, product organizations, and marketing. This role is dedicated to the support and leadership of assigned customer accounts with opportunities to influence sales, product, and marketing organizations. Supporting large multinational companies, this role may require up to 50% travel for domestic and international locations.
