OPPORTUNITY: Managed Services and new consumption models are key to the future growth and profitability of a large part of Cisco’s portfolio. With the shift toward “X-as-a-service” consumption, a new group within Cisco Services has been formed and all managed services and cloud operations capabilities are being consolidated into this group.
Within this group, we will establish Cloud Infrastructure Operations – a team driving our central hosting strategy and infrastructure ops, which will eventually power product/services delivered to Cisco customers and partners around the world.
Cisco Cloud Infrastructure Services seeks self-driven individuals to play a vital role in implementation and operation of hosting environments leveraging virtualization, automation and orchestration technologies.
Core Skills:
- Experience in designing and managing large server environments
- Advance knowledge in OS internals
- Ability to set architectural and tactical direction based on strategic needs
- Experience in deploying and managing virtualization technologies (ex. Vmware or KVM)
- Clear understanding of networking and storage principles and architecture
