Embedded Systems Engineer - C / Linux
Participate on the GSBU Diagnostics Team developing embedded software for board/ASIC/FPGA bring up, validation and manufacturing. Open positions include projects on our next generation K10 platform using multi-core CPUs, large FPGAs and custom ASICS. A Linux based diagnostics platform is under consideration. IronPort Systems Engineers work very closely with their sales team and the Regional SE team. The Systems Engineer is responsible to help accelerate the closing of business within the sales territory.
This position encompasses sales engineering, project management, network design, integration engineering and pre sales customer support responsibilities.
The Systems Engineer engages with the customer from the point of pre-sales evaluation through all technical planning and evaluation processes until the purchase order is received.
