We have a current opening for Product Manager to work in the Consumer TelePresence Business Unit of our Emerging Technologies Group (ETG).
Create and define marketing and product requirements for a consumer video product. Define and execute the go-to-market strategy. Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineering, marketing, finance, sales, business development, operations, and customer support to ensure a successful product launch. Product includes hardware components, software components, and network services components.
Product Manager Deliverables and task items:
- Build and define road maps with TAM and CAM
- Identify product and features and solutions requirements
- Create marketing requirements analysis
- Comprehensive pricing analysis of competitive solutions
- Cost analysis for engineering
- Consensus management and team meetings with engineering for concept commit
- Cross functional integration with other Cisco Business Units
- Document creation including data sheets, FAQ’s, positioning and white papers
- Define and execute consumer research
- Create Market and Product Requirements Documents (MRDs and PRDs)
Customer-facing activities:
- Industry Trade Shows
- Cisco marketing events
- Press and Analyst briefings and events
- Customer visits
- Channel support and training
Requirements:
- Comprehensive knowledge of consumer audio-video market
- History of delivering new product categories in the context of uncertain engineering and market constraints
- Track record of working collaboratively across a cross-functional organization to deliver
- Experience planning and delivering communications with press, analysts and customers
- Must be a self-starter able to problem-solve independently
