This position generally requires the following skills:
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the Software QA team to meet and exceed the goals for software quality.
- Develop a test strategy and test plans for a multi-system solution.
- Plan and prioritize team work items.
- Provide oversight, and mentoring to team members.
- Ensure proper use of software quality processes.
- Generate and analyze quality metrics to track progress.
- Grow the scale and capabilities of the team.
- Oversee engineering servers and network infrastructure.
- Manage alpha deployments, and analyze feedback.
- Interaction with partner certification organizations.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of experience in the Software QA Manager role
- Strong, results oriented, project management skills
- Demonstrated record of delivering high quality products in a timely manner
- Deep knowledge of testing and quality processes
- Experience applying test automation technology
- Analytically driven approach to measuring test results
- Extensive experience in IP Networking, VoIP, and Video products.
- Experience with service provider VoIP architectures, particularly IMS, a plus.
- Experience with web services desired (REST, AJAX, SOAP/XML)
- Technical proficiency with Linux servers and embedded devices.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
