Corporate Controller

Responsible for executing revenue accounting processes for areas within the US/Canada Theater.

Partner with Sales Controllers to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in compliance with the Company’s revenue recognition policy and US GAAP, and prepare appropriate documentation.

Assist in the assessment of internal controls related to revenue accounting operations to ensure compliance with Company policies, SOX requirements (including monthly testing of key controls) and drive improvements.

Partner cross-functionally with finance and non-finance organizations to assess revenue recognition impacts related to the Company’s various sales offerings/ models and implement operational guidance relating to these types of arrangements.

Participate in close related functions such as forecasting and the generation of key month end reports.

Develop and drive cross-functional process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency. Participate in cross-functional projects as subject matter expert to support business, regulatory, and other operational changes.

Support internal and external audit activities.

Skills required:

Experience in revenue accounting, including SOP 97-2 and EITF 08-1 preferred.

Strong and effective communication skills across multiple functional organizations.

Must have excellent partnering and influencing skills.

Good business knowledge and ability to link business processes with financial accounting.

Presentation skills for technical topics concerning specific projects or business issues.

CPA or BS degree with 3 years of related experience preferred.

SOX, audit, general or cost accounting or business unit expertise with demonstrated skills in business partnership or accounting may also be considered. APPLY HERE

Tax Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:
*Support and manage all APAs or other rulings
*Manage Transfer Pricing audits
*Manage and review all TP documentation
*Transfer Pricing Content
*Work with all regional tax managers and indirect tax managers on various tax initiatives
*Manage and influence the internal and external relationships and effectively communicate Transfer Pricing Structure
*Work on quarterly and yearly financial models that tie into the PBT calculation
Program Management Experience Required:
*Work independently with little supervision, ability to build roadmaps and deliver a sequence of tangible deliverables towards a clear end-state.
*Very strong communication and influencing skills.
*Functional understanding in Taxation and Cisco's tax structure
Skills/Experience Requirements:
*Knowledge of Oracle ERP within the Finance and Order Management modules.
*Experience and knowledge in working on tax related systems - including Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex, and Virtual Trader.
*Knowledge of tax impacts for intercompany transactions.
*Transfer Pricing experience
*Understanding of financial model building and maintenance.

Business Manager

Responsibilities
• Setting the monthly forecasts and flashes, quarterly commits and annual budgets for Revenue and COGS. This includes day to day activities: monthly close responsibilities such as close forecasting, accrual analysis, JV approvals, PR approvals as related to business partners.
• This position will be responsible for managing Revenue in excess of $500M and over $300M in Cost. Must be a self starter and will have a valuable seat at the table to provide the financial support required to drive operational efficiency initiatives, such as services segmentation, and prioritization of resource growth.
• This business manager will have a unique opportunity to manage a full P&L with responsibility to drive business improvement across a large and growing organization. The individual will be expected to provide input on key business issues, trending, etc.
• Drive regular meetings and relationship management with each business partner group to facilitate planning and optimize spend management. Developing and implementing standardized monthly reporting for each delivery area will be a priority. Perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
Tools that will be utilized in the role (Can be learned):
•Cisco Finance systems/tools (Fetch, Plan-It, SI2000, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion/Essbase)

Required Qualifications:
• BS degree with 8+ years of related finance or accounting experience.
• High degree of partnering skills: personal integrity; drive for results; forward thinker; performance-oriented, proactive and cross functional thinker.
• Experienced in application of U.S. GAAP
• Communicate strongly and effectively across multiple levels of the company and across multiple functional organizations.
• Ability to participate / leverage cross-functional and global teams.

Financial Analyst - SOX Compliance

Key responsibilities include: Obtain an understanding of significant financial business processes and systems, including risk and mitigating internal controls. Partner with SOX Process Team Leads of cross-functional organizations in the execution of core SOX walkthrough and testing activities. Resolution and sizing of process deficiencies through continuous communication, collaboration and execution with SOX management and Process Team Leads Prepare and report out metrics for functional processes to SOX PMO Management and cross-functionally to Process Team Leads and/or Business Process Compliance Owners Documents all walkthroughs and test of controls in the SOX System of Record (OpenPages) Role includes expanded opportunities for the evaluation of the SOX Internal Control Readiness and Change Management of current controls associated with system implementations, process enhancements, and control owner changes. Requirements • Approx. 2-4 years of finance/accounting experience with internal controls experience. • Ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail. • Strong accounting and analytical skills with proven ability to apply knowledge. Develop and drive cross-functional process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency. Participate in cross-functional projects as subject matter expert to support business, regulatory, and other operational changes. Support internal and external audit activities. Skills required: Experience in revenue accounting, including SOP 97-2 and EITF 08-1 preferred. Strong and effective communication skills across multiple functional organizations.
