Product Manager, Storage Networking / Data Center

Cisco is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Data Center team to drive next generation data center access products. In this role, you will be a member of a dynamic product team committed to the continuation of Cisco's leadership in Data Center technologies.

Responsibilities Include:
•Definition of new product (technical and business)
•Responsible for the product throughout the execution cycle, including:
-Gathering product requirements and defining the product vision
-Working with engineering to develop and deliver
-Creating product insertion and go to market strategy
-Product launch to customers, partners, etc.
•Develop the product strategy, positioning, pricing, and all elements related to the business case.
•Direct customer and partner interaction.

Skills Required:
•Software product management experience is highly desirable (experience with large enterprise applications is a plus).
•Excellent technical skills in data center technologies including networking, server infrastructure, server virtualization and/or management applications.
•Demonstrated customer/partner facing experience (ex. prior product management, outbound marketing or sales role).
•Strong presentation skills demonstrating creativity and initiative.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Strong teamwork skills.

Educational Background Recommended:
•Computer Science, Electrical Engineering degree highly desirable. Finance, Marketing or equivalent considered
•Related experience in developing/marketing internetworking technologies, server infrastructure, and/or applications
•MBA or advanced degree preferred.
