The Corporate Development (CD) organization is responsible for driving Cisco’s long term growth strategy through an integrated approach to market entry, expansion and acceleration. This spans the full lifecycle of innovation, investment, acquisition and partnerships.
Over the past few years Corporate Development has played an aggressive role in Cisco’s growth through more than 120 acquisitions, partnerships and investments. The Integration group within CD is responsible for executing the integration of acquisitions and Cisco, including the integration of people, processes, organizations and infrastructure.
This position is responsible for leading acquisition integrations and for operational decisions which will affect deadlines, overall business operations and CD’s success. This role provides an opportunity to be a major contributor in Cisco's efforts to gain leadership in global markets and individuals will have the ability to grow into a future leader of the broader CD organization.
Essential Responsibilities
• Responsible for operational decisions that will affect deadlines, overall business operations and CD’s success
• Influences multiple stakeholders to align to an integration plan that best supports value drivers
• Drives resolution of cross functional issues
• Leads integration of product based deals that typically span a timeframe of 9-12 months. Has the ability to go across and work with diverse business segments.
• Understands multiple go to market models
• Has an established relationship network with ability to influence
• Has subject matter expertise in multiple cross-functional processes in the integration practice and demonstrates leadership in at least one cross-functional process
• Manages or shows ability to manage teams and build collaboration
• Earns the confidence of others through open communication and respectful behavior
• Possesses knowledge and mastery of different Integration tools and processes. Has the ability to make business recommendation with regards to these tools
• Able to represent Cisco by communicating business capabilities and strategies to external constituents
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in acquisition integration, this is critical for success in this role
5+ years experience managing large, complex, cross-functional projects
College degree required
