Sr Web UI Developer

The Converged Secure Infrastructure Business Unit (CSIBU) offers network-centric video surveillance software and hardware that supports video transmission, monitoring, recording, and management. These products protect customers existing investments in analog equipment while enabling these devices to operate as part of an IP network-centric deployment.

Responsible for design and development of a new web-based application for digital Video Surveillance and Video Analytics as part of a dynamic and fast-growing team. Provides an opportunity to use the latest Web technologies and contribute to development of a brand new user interface from the beginning.

Responsibilities will include:
-Design and development of new software product features
-Representing Cisco at a technical level to customers and partners
-Writing complete functional and design specs independently.
-Contributing to the development of project goals, schedules, and resource planning
-Working with customers on product demonstrations, field trials and product deployments

-Seeking 7-10 years of experience in Web UI Development
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Extensive knowledge and experience with Web 2.0 technologies
-Detailed knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
-Experience with server-side web technologies like JSP/PHP
-Experience with Javascript toolkits like YUI or Dojo is a plus
-Experience in user interface design is a definite plus
