The challenges involved in developing a simple, intuitive, yet high quality product reach beyond the hardware of the camcorder to also envelope the software ecosystem which completes the Flip Video experience. We have opportunities for passionate and talented software engineers to join our growing development family in downtown San Francisco. The right candidates would work with us to create high-quality, cutting-edge software products enabling our customers to have the best possible experience creating and sharing video. The main software components of the Flip Video experience are the desktop application (for Mac and PC platforms) that enables our users to save, view, manipulate and share their video and the surrounding online software ecosystem that the client utilizes. As part of Pure Digital Technologies, you will be involved in the design, implementation and on-going improvement of our key software offerings. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Appropriate candidates will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• A passion for building top-of-the-line software
• Significant experience using QuickTime to develop multimedia applications on the Mac
• 3 or more years of consumer software development in C++
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BSCS, BSEE or equivalent

An ideal candidate would also have one or more of the following:
• MSCS or equivalent
• Experience with cross-platform development, especially with the Qt framework
• Experience with streaming video
• Experience developing client/server/web interactions
