Security Technical Lead -- Consumer TelePresence

The Consumer TelePresence unit of Cisco's Emerging Technologies Group is looking for a talented and motivated Security Technical Lead to work with us to expand TelePresence into the home. Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering analysis and design of the security mechanisms of the consumer TelePresence solution which includes both web services and consumer premises endpoints.
- Investigate and evaluate component level security mechanisms from suppliers.
- Coordinate and evaluate the testing of solution security via internal and external auditing.
- Working with engineering management devise processes and procedures to ensure ongoing security evaluation and repair.
- Collaborate with other Cisco organizations to communicate our security strategy, and leverage the capabilities and technologies available within Cisco.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of technical experience in the area of IP network security as it relates to providing web services on the Internet.
- 3+ years experience with security mechanisms of consumer oriented embedded systems.
- 5+ years experience analyzing and developing Linux based services and products.
- 3+ years experience with IP-based, real-time audio/video multimedia systems.
- Strong, results oriented focus.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
