Job Requirements:
1 Deep knowledge of product development life cycle. Including front end HW design, Mechanical Engineering and backend product delivery into manufacturing.
2) Work with a wide variety of internal and external engineering teams. Understand their requirements and work on leveraging our standard platform to meet their platform needs.
3) Help drive end to end product life cycle of the platform that adopters have picked(including extended life cycle support).
4) Not be afraid to take risks, and think out of the box
5) Ability to determine and manage costs associated with customizations on tight schedules,
6) Ability to understand and drive build requirements, quality requirements and mfg test / qualification requirements of the products for the adopters.
7) Ability to interface with other disciplines, including software, SQA, manufacturing etc.
8) Should have demonstrated experience with shipping products from concept to manufacturing, and sustaining

Technical Background:

 Demonstrated experience with HW design, development and release of complex platforms from concept to manufacturing & sustaining
 Familiarity with HW design, development and delivery of x86 based server platforms in highly desirable.
 Experience with mechanical design (chassis, bezel, Railkit, rack level) of complex products is highly desirable.
 Proven experience in driving cross functional teams (HW, SW, Mfg, Quality) through development and sustaining process (e.g. HW program management experience).
 Experience working with different ODMs on high volume products is highly desirable.
 Experience with qualification (DVT) of server peripherals such as HDDs, memory, processors, PCIe adapters etc. highly desirable.
 Experience with lab bring up and design validation on products.
