The Managed Services Delivery team will be launching a new set of services in the area of Small Cell technologies and SP WIFI leveraging the Cisco Cloud Connect (formerly WANDA) architecture. These services will enable a Small Cell / Wi-Fi acceleration go-to-market approach to help mobile operators seamlessly offload congestion in 3G networks through Wi-Fi data offload. Cisco Cloud Connect is a set of cloud-hosted services providing centralized management, recording historical statistics and running additional network services such as user authentication and system alerts.
Key to successfully executing on our Small Cell / SP WIFI strategy will be designing scalable services assurance and fulfillment architectures that enable simple deployment, monitoring and provisioning of SP WIFI infrastructure and access points.
The prospective candidate must possess an in depth knowledge of Wireless technology including WIFI, FEMTO, RF Design, Wireless Controllers, ISG, and related technologies. Ideally the candidate should be able to abstract how these technologies are being applied in SP managed service environments.
Technical background must also include a detailed understanding of NMS/OSS/BSS frameworks, relevant networking and OSS/BSS/NMS functions like Order Management, Service Enablement/Fulfillment, Service Monitoring/Performance, Order Decomposition, OSS integration, and key management standards (TR69 and others) and how they apply to SP WIFI.
