Strategic Business Development Manager -- Consumer Products

We have a current opening for a Strategic Business Development Manager to work in
the Consumer TelePresence unit of Cisco's Emerging Technologies Group.

Job Description:

-Traditional strategic business development
-Create and implement ecosystem development strategy for long term growth
-Ability to present the Business Case for ally or acquire to potential partners at CxO's and Business Decision Makers level
-Work closely with Account Teams in retail,service provider and strategic alliances to create ecosystem for Consumer TelePresence
-Lead cross-functional initiatives which intimately engage the Consumer TelePresence Business Unit with one or more market-facing organizations
-Work closely with Product Marketing to refine long term strategic requirements for Consumer

REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum of 7-10 years in proven business development environment preferably in a high technology company.
-Must have at least 5 years of experience working with Communications & Consumer products.
-Proven 2+ years experience in developing and defining different types of business models
-Proven Ecosystem strategy and creation
-Strategic/creative thinking & the ability to effectively leverage teamwork to achieve measurable & quality results
-Proven business acumen and negotiation skills
-Analytical and execution oriented
-Strong communication skills (written, presentation and oral)
-Direct 5+ years experience in Retail, Consumer Channels, and other Sales Organizations

Education: MBA required

-Leadership experience (direct and virtual teams)
-Good understanding of Consumer products, Video and other collaborative technologies
-Product and corporate strategy development
-Finance and business operations understanding
