This position is for a senior-level Account Manager calling on Commercial, Enterprise, State and Local Government (SLED), and Department of Defense (DoD) accounts in Hawaii.
The position requires the ability to manage complex sales situations and large projects. Candidate must have demonstrated experience in building executive relationships within Commercial, Enterprise, SLED, Federal, DoD, Systems Integrator and Prime Contractor accounts. Must be aggressive self-starter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco's solutions and business strategies, create demand and close deals. Must develop and execute an annual plan for all accounts in line with Cisco Company strategy. Business forecasting (weekly commit, monthly forecast, and Quarterly pipeline development) required. Work with engineering team in creating integrated solutions that address complex problems with focus on the Cisco value proposition. Solid presentation skills required. Must demonstrate negotiation skills. Understanding of Commercial, Enterprise, SLED and Federal and DoD business organizations and their buying cycles is preferred. Experience selling in technology and networking industry is preferred. The ability to negotiate solutions to issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy required. The successful person must have a keen ability to position "end to end" solutions, and articulate primary vendor strategies to senior customer executives. They must demonstrate knowledge of running a sales territory, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short term, mid term, long term opportunity management. Must have experience obtaining a quota of $10M+ and able to travel.
