The role of Security PSS is responsible for driving overall Web Content Security sales focused within Select Commercial accounts and Enterprise accounts on the West Coast. The successful candidate must be able to develop strong relationships with key customer contacts, including at the executive level, to understand customer business drivers and influence their tactical and strategic plans for information systems security.

The candidate must be able to develop strong working relationships with Cisco Enterprise Regional Managers, Account Managers, and Engineers to ensure alignment of sales strategies for Security and overall Cisco business within the accounts. Additionally, the PSS must be able to engage internal resources, including Marketing, CA, Partners and the Business Units to drive the overall growth of the technology within their assigned territory. All actions must be a part of a complete business plan which allows the successful candidate to meet and exceed assigned quota.

Extensive knowledge of Cisco Security solutions; should be viewed as the specialist for such accounts. Must have in-depth knowledge of competitors. Proven success in managing large complex accounts. Capabilities include sales strategy, opportunity discovery, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management essential. Position end-to-end solutions and articulate primary vendor strategies to senior customer executives are essential. Must be an aggressive self-starter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco product and business strategies, create the demand and close deals.
Strong industry background with proven success in selling Security solutions.
