C / C++ Linux Software Engineer, Media Security

TelePresence is a virtual presence experience that uses advanced visual, audio, and interactive technologies to create an in person experience at a virtual conference table. TelePresence is one of the more recent examples of how Cisco is changing the way we work, live, play and learn. (See You Tube videos to the right on this blog.)

Responsibilities:

This position will work with a team to help implement media encryption on the video switch.

Requirements:

Strong Linux experience to include Linux 2.4 and 2.6

Superb C/C++ coding skills working in a Linux environment

Media security experience to include SRTP/SRTCP, EKT and key exchange management

Excellent problem solving skills

Effective written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration skills


Preferred:
General knowledge of networking useful
Understanding of video transport to include knowledge of RTP/RTCP
