L&D Program Manager @ Cisco

The Cisco Development Organization (CDO) Leadership Development team is a small team of people who are passionate about improving Cisco's business results through systematically developing exceptional leaders within CDO. The CDO Leadership Development Group is launching a number of large scale new training programs for CDO leaders and needs a high energy, flexible, detail oriented Program Manager to manage these programs.

Responsibilities:

1) Overall project owner for delivery of a custom developed multi-phased manager development program. This includes:
• Planning and execution for all deliveries
• Manages assessment/development projects to achieve desired results within schedule and budget expectations
• Managing delivery vendors/partners
• Facilitating Phase 1 (pre-work) and Phase 3 (post work) portions of the program
• Co-hort planning and coaching rotation scheduling
• Creating required processes and documentation required to scale programs
• Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions and modifies/adapts solutions as necessary
• Coaches facilitators to increase instructional and delivery effectiveness and quality
• On-site management of all programs (some travel may be required – 3-4 weeks/year)
• Primary interface and program face for participants, facilitators and coaches
• Program reporting & statistics
• Interfaces with logistic team to ensure invites, facilities, and materials are on track

2) In partnership with senior L&D manager, develop additional programs that build manager community and keep learning alive.

Requirements:
• Organizational learning, instructional design or change management
• Hi-tech background working with technical professionals
• Strong program management skills
• Highly motivated, organized, detail oriented and works well under pressure
• Team player able to build collaborative relationships with coworkers, interdepartmental partners, program participants, facilitators and sponsors
• Creative problem solving
• Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities
• Superb written and oral communications skills
• In-depth MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word capabilities
• 5+ years corporate experience
• Education - Minimum college/undergraduate degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in OD, HR, Instructional Design or related field
