We have a current opening for a Software Manager in the TelePresence Technology Group.

TelePresence is a virtual presence experience that uses advanced visual, audio, and interactive technologies to create an in person experience at a virtual conference table. TelePresence is one of the more recent examples of how Cisco is changing the way we work, live, play and learn. Join our high energy team involved in testing several next generation TelePresence products.

Responsibilities:

The Software Manager will be leading the group of software engineers for the TelePresence application involving Web GUI, Phone GUI and system control.
Lead team of engineers to architect and implement the code required.

Work with the following:
-Different BU's to leverage functions from their products.
-Product Marketing and Engineering to insure that the proper features are implemented.
-Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure that the product can be manufactured easily and is well understood.
-Dev Test and Engineering to ensure that the essential quality is preserved and that the most critical bug areas are addressed.
-CA/TAC and engineering to help support the product and provide the proper training for the TAC team.
-Assist the Escalation team to debug and answer questions when customers report issues.

Requirements:
- Technical Software Management 5 years or more experience
- SIP signaling / call control and communications applications
- 6 years of experience in real time systems
- C/C++ language development
